In 2022, counts of individuals (421,392 people) and chronically homeless individuals (127,768) reached record highs in the history of data collection.
Homelessness rose by a modest 0.3 percent from 2020 to 2022, a period marked by both pandemic-related economic disruptions and robust investments of federal resources into human services.

Ending Homelessness Together
Homelessness in USA increased over the course of one year ( 2022 – 2023) by 12%. About 653,104 people were experiencing homelessness by 2023. Welcome to Muslims for homeless, a nonprofit entity dedicated to eradicating homelessness. Rooted in the teachings of Islam are the principles of compassion and social justice. We strive to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those experiencing homelessness.
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) exemplified the spirit of compassion and generosity through his actions and teachings. He said: “The believer’s shade on the Day of Resurrection will be his charity” (Tirmidhi).
There are about 3-4 million Muslims in USA. We are reaching out to all to join in this noble cause.
We are requesting every family to contribute a minimal of $1 for each family member per month. For example a family of four, $4 per month, family of five, $5 per month and so on and so forth.
There will be no administrative expense and an online record will be maintained by a CPA on the website with annual audit.
